What’s the most impactful story you’ve had from one of your clients?

‍A client who was a widow and thought she had a very close family. They were a larger family, but there had never been any issues. She had a family member pass away, and her whole family began fighting over every little aspect of the estate. 

It nearly tore the family apart, and some relationships were ruined for good. She then realized how important an estate plan was to her, and that she needed to take immediate action.

Have you ever had a client you couldn’t help because they reached out too late?‍

A client once reached out to us after her husband suffered a stroke. He didn’t have any medical or financial power of attorney in place, so they had to petition the court to grant the wife access. The whole process took a long time and cost a lot of money. 

If they had been proactive and set up those documents while they were both alive and in good health, they could’ve avoided the extra time, money, and headache that they had to go through.
